Description
Tom George has 13 years of experience in the Information Technology and Data Science fields, and currently is a Senior Systems Engineer for Vidoori, Inc. In addition to his extensive background in software development, statistical analysis and database management, he co-designed the Capture Data Quality System for the 2010 US Census. He utilized that system to find clusters of disproportionate error in US response data which indicate systemic data capture errors. Additionally, he developed numerous static and dynamic models used to validate that the architectural design would meet the expected workload for the 2010 Census. Prior to that, Tom was enlisted in the US Navy for 6 years. He has worked on several data modeling studies, including the Census Generic Methodology project and the Census Pay Rates predictive modeling and segmentation study, as a partner to CVS when he worked at Evolver, Inc. He has a Master’s of Science Degree from University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
